Competition for Co-Finance Scholarships on Master and Doctoral Studies in Country and Abroad and Travel Costs for Study Stays Abroad

announces the

COMPETITION

FOR CO-FINANCE OF SCHOLASHIPS ON MASTER AND DOCTORAL STUDIES IN COUNTRY AND ABROAD AND TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR STUDY STAYS ABROAD  

 

1.      CO-FINANCE OF MASTER STUDIES
The Ministry of Education will co-finance tuition fees for 60 candidates enrolled in the first year of master's studies in the country and abroad in the 2019/2020 academic year, 10 in the field of: science-mathematical, technical-technological, medical, agricultural, social and human sciences, candidates who, by a rule, meet the following conditions: 

- point average grade of minimum 9.00 in undergraduate studies and minimum 9.00 in specialisation studies (social sciences and humanities), i.e. minimum 8.50 in undergraduate studies and at least 8.50 in specialist studies (other sciences);

-  recommendations of two professors;

- knowledge of one world language;

- not fully covered costs of tuition fees from other sources (document with a certified court statement); and

- Montenegrin citizen.

 

Candidates will be co-financed with tuition fees of up to 500 euros.

 

If more than one candidate from one field of science applies, and they have fulfilled the condition related to the average grade, i.e. passing grade index, priority will be given to candidates with a higher average grade, i.e. passing  grade index.

 

The competition for these purposes is open until September 25th, 2020.

2. CO-FINANCING DOCTORAL STUDIES

The Ministry of Education will co-finance tuition fees for 24 candidates enrolled in the first year of doctoral studies in the country and abroad for the 2019/2020 academic year, four in the field: science-mathematical, technical-technological, medical, agricultural, social and human sciences, candidates who, as a rule, meet the following conditions:- to have an average grade of minimum 9.00 in undergraduate studies, minimum 9.00 in specialisation studies and minimum 9.00 in master's studies (social sciences and humanities), or minimum 8.50 in undergraduate studies, minimum 8.50 in specialist studies and minimum 8.50 in master's studies (other sciences); - to have the recommendations of two professors;- to have knowledge of one world language;- that they do not fully cover the costs of tuition fees from other sources (document with a certified court statement); and- that they are citizens of Montenegro. Candidates will be co-financed with tuition fees of up to 1,000 euros. If more than one candidate from one field of science applies, and they have fulfil conditions related to the average grade, i.e. the passing grade index, priority will be given to candidates who have a higher point average grade and a higher number of published scientific papers. The competition for these purposes is open until September 25th, 2020.The Application form may be downloaded HERE. 2.      CO-FINANCE OF TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR STUDY STAYS ABROAD AND SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS BY FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS   The Ministry of Education may co-finance travel expenses for students, i.e. teaching staff from higher education institutions in Montenegro, as follows:- for students, winners of scholarships for study stays in 2020, for a minimum duration of 30 days, based on mobility programs. Travel expenses are co-financed once during one calendar year; and- winners of foreign government scholarships for 2020/2021, which are implemented through the Ministry of Education. Travel expenses for recipients of foreign government scholarships are co-financed once during one cycle of education. For mobility programs and foreign government scholarships, the Ministry will co-finance travel expenses in the amount of 200 euros.The competition for these purposes is open until December 16th, 2020.The application form may be downloaded HERE.
