Students of the University of Montenegro Promote Healthy Lifestyles
Students of the University of Montenegro on Friday, organized by the Student Sports Federation of Montenegro, were part of the Biking tour for students, while on Saturday about 100 students enjoyed a tour of Captain's and Manito Lake.
Biking tour for students, as another in a series of non-competitive activities, was organized in the vicinity of Danilovgrad, in cooperation with the Cycling Club "Jada", and with the support of the Cycling Association of Montenegro. In the introductory part of the program, all participants were greeted by the President of the Municipality of Danilovgrad Zorica Kovacevic, and after the address of the President of the Cycling Association and the President of the Student Sports Association of Montenegro, students drove 25 km in Bjelopavlici and Zeta.
The participants of the tour had the opportunity to get acquainted with the beautiful areas of this municipality, but also to hear interesting stories about the bridge of Jelena Anžujska and Adžija's bridge, where short breaks were taken for photography. After the tour, a joint gathering was organized in the beautiful ambience of the mud house, and the Municipality of Danilovgrad awarded the author with a bicycle the most beautiful photo recorded during the tour.
On the heights of Lukavica, tucked among the mountains, the road to Captain's Lake provided students with everything they need for an adventure to remember: the Lukavica valley with fragrant flower fields full of daffodils and dandelions, katuns producing local products, domestic animals, and endless and peace and quiet. After the Captain's, on just a 45-minute walk, the students also toured Manito Lake. Beautiful vistas and souvenir photos marked this one-day gathering of students.
These activities attract more and more attention of students, and the Student Sports Federation of Montenegro in the coming period through similar events will promote healthy lifestyles and introduce students to beautiful regions of our country that have not had the opportunity to see yet.
