Presentation of American scholarship Global UGRAD, where representative of the USA Embassy and alumni of this program had a speech, saw held today in Rectorate of the University of Montenegro.

Assistant in Department for Media and Culture in the USA Embassy Jelena Vojnic said that Global UGRAD program, financed by the USA Government, presents academic and cultural exchange that differs from the way of studying in any other environment in the world.  

‘Conditions to be met by students so to apply for the program are age older than 18 years, regular attendance on mother faculty or graduated minimum one semester in accordance with the year of studies; solid knowledge of English Language that is not tested in application program but in the phase when a candidate becomes finalist who is offered to go to the program; also, after finalization of the program student has one more semester or equivalent to finish in his/her mother faculty’, she said.

Competition for Global UGRAD scholarship, she adds, is open until December 31st 2019 for students of bachelor studies from Montenegro, which is, as she says, one of over 60 countries participating in this program.

Alumni of this Program shared their experiences on basis of living in American residential student campuses that, as they say, look like cities having a great number of libraries, courses for recreation and shops. They especially emphasized eagerness of American academic staff to efficiently inform students and clarify issues regarding any field.
