Applications for Student Business Hub, the free business training, begin today
Final-year students at the University of Montenegro can apply, from today until February 1, 2021, for the free training program Student Business Hub, organized by Career Center of the University of Montenegro with collaboration with the company Balance to business.
Through free trainings and workshops, this program includes 30 students, divided into two groups, 15 in a semester and prepares them for the future business ventures.
After completing the trainings, which will be held at the University Sport and Cultural centre, students will receive a certificate as a confirmation of a successfully completed program.
The first group of participants will have workshops and trainings in the period from February to June, six times during the following semester, at the weekends, lasting 6-8 hours.
The program will be realized in three parts. At the very beginning, participants will be able to discover and realize their potentials, what they really want from their future and how they can reach defined goal, as well as to adopt and learn new skills in the field of human resources and business management through a part of the program called “Career Potential”.
In the second part, students will be able to master practical skills that will enable them to reach exactly their defined goal, as well as acquire new knowledge that will prepare them for the business world through workshops with working titles “Communication and dialogue to success”, “Effective receiving and giving feedback”, “Concept of time”, “Decision making and efficient meetings”.
At the very end, they will have the opportunity to learn how to cope with all the challenges that future may bring through the thematic workshop “Young leaders of the new Age”.
All parts of the program includes practical exercises and beside that, each student will have the opportunity for two free individual couching sessions during the program in order to provide personalized access and support to each student.
Students apply by sending short motivational letter (in which it is necessary to state the faculty, year of study and average grade) and a CV form to the e-mail of the Career Centre - karijernicentar@ucg.ac.me.
APPLICATION CRITERIA
The University of Montenegro students who wish to apply for attending the first Student Business Hub, must meet the following requirements.
- That they are final years of studies (specialist studies, one-year or two-year master studies)
- The total average grade from the previous levels of studies must be above 8.0
- Trainings and workshops in this semester are available for students fromthe following faculties:
- Faculty of Economics – 2 students
- Faculty of Law – 2 students
- Faculty of Political Science – 2 students
- Faculty of Electrical Engineering – 2 students
- Faculty of Science and Mathematics – 2 students
- Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – 1 student
- Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality – 1 student
- Faculty of Philology – 1 student
- Faculty of Fine Arts (Department of Graphic Design) – 1 student
- Faculty of Philosophy (Department of Psychology and Department of Sociology) – 1 student
If the number of the applied students with similar qualifications is large, short interviews with applied candidates will be conducted.
