Competition "Chinese Bridge"

The Chinese Bridge "Chinese Bridge" is an international competition in the knowledge of the Chinese language, culture and customs, organized by the headquarters of the Confucius Institutes - Center for Language, Education and Cooperation
Since its launch in 2002, the event has attracted more than 1,000 students from 80 countries. The competition has become an important platform for foreign students and their learning of the Chinese language and traditions about China.
The participants of the competition are foreign pupils and students, up to 30 years of age, whose native language is not Chinese.

The competition is organized in 3 categories:
1. Primary school category - students up to 14 years old
2. Secondary school category - students from 14 to 18 years old
3. Students category - students from 18 to 30 years old

Themes of this years competition:
1. Category of elementary schools - Happy Chinese, joy and fun!
2. High school category - Fly high with the Chinese!
3. Category students - One world, one family!
The content of the competition is knowledge of the Chinese language, knowledge of China, Chinese culture as well as comprehensive learning skills and abilities.
Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills will be tested in the form of special speeches, depending on the category.
