The "Chinese Bridge" competition was held at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica

"Chinese Bridge", a respectable Chinese language competition, has been held all over the world for twenty years, and on May 24, 2023. At the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, a national competition was held with the support of the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China in Montenegro.

The competition is about language as well as Chinese dance, ancient skills and recitation, which the contestants brought closer to the audience with their flawless interpretations and thus contributed to greater interest in the Chinese language and culture. As the name of the competition itself says, the bridge is a place of meeting, connection, a place where cultures come together. We are always happy to encourage your creativity and desire to learn Chinese.

The competition was organized in three categories:

Primary school category - students up to 14 years old
Secondary school category - students from 14 to 18 years old
Students category - students from 18 to 30 years old

Themes of this years competition:

category of elementary schools - speech on the topic "Happy Chinese, joy and fun!"
high school category - speech on the topic "Lets Pursue Chinese Dreams"
category students - speech on the topic "One world, one family"

The members of the expert jury were:

Gao Qinglong - director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro in front of CSUST
Xing Xing - representative of the Embassy of the Republic of China in Montenegro
Mila Babović – translator from the Embassy of the Republic of China in Montenegro
Tang Zhengyan - China Road and Bridge Corporation
Liu Chang of China Road and Bridge Corporation

The winners of the competition won valuable prizes:

instead of Xiaomi redmi buds 4 headphones

While the other contestants won a Xiaomi mi lcd graphic board.
