The Confucius Institute at UCG organizes the first visit of a delegation from Montenegro to China after three years

The Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro, in cooperation with the Center for Cooperation and Education of Chinese and Foreign Languages and the partner Changsha University of Science and Technology, organizes the first visit of a delegation from Montenegro to China after 3 years, under the name "Chinese Bridge - educational delegates visiting China).
The program is primarily intended for managers and representatives of educational institutions in Montenegro with whom the Confucius Institute at UCG cooperates, but also for other employees who are dedicated to the creation and development of new Chinese language and cultural programs. On the trip to China, which is planned for July 3 (for 8 days), the delegation will visit educational institutions in certain provinces and cities, as well as various cultural events.
On this occasion, on June 21, 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of China in Montenegro organized a cocktail reception for the delegation. The media were addressed by Ambassador Fan Kun, the director of Elementary School "Štampar Makarije", Mr. Novica Gačević, and the director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro, Assoc. Dr. Milena Lipovina-Božović.
The ambassador wished the delegation a happy trip and a pleasant stay in China and expressed the hope that during the visit the members of the delegation will feel the dynamics of Chinas development and experience the contrasts of ancient and modern Chinese culture. He emphasized the importance of linguistic and cultural exchange in the bilateral cooperation between China and Montenegro, and expressed the hope that such visits will encourage more young people from Montenegro to contribute to the friendship between the two countries.
Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Montenegro, Assoc. Milena Lipovina-Božović, Ph.D., expressed her gratitude to the Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China for the hospitality and organization of the reception. She pointed out that this is an opportunity to strengthen ties between our countries and further promote Chinese culture and language in Montenegro. She added that she is convinced that this trip will leave a deep impression on every member of the delegation, and that the experiences and insights she will gain on this trip will be a valuable inspiration in her further work, as well as a foundation for future cooperation.
