My experiences as a visiting lecturer at the University of Montenegro have significantly contributed to my professional development. Engaging with students and colleagues in a different cultural and academic context has broadened my perspective and deepened my understanding of diverse teaching methods and research interests. Additionally, the discussions have sparked new ideas and collaborations, enhancing my research portfolio and expanding my professional network.

While teaching at the University of Montenegro, I observed teaching approaches that align closely with those at my home institution. Both emphasize interactive learning, encouraging students to actively participate in discussions and apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations. However, I noticed a greater emphasis on fostering a close student-professor relationship at the University of Montenegro, where professors engage with students in a more personal and approachable manner, which positively influences student engagement and learning outcomes.

The academic atmosphere at the University of Montenegro, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, is notably similar to the environment at my home institution. Both institutions foster a friendly and professional atmosphere, emphasizing collaboration and mutual support among staff and students. However, the University of Montenegro stands out for its enthusiastic approach towards international collaboration, as evidenced by the warm welcome and eagerness to engage in joint projects.

During my stay at the University of Montenegro, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with several professors on joint research projects and pedagogical initiatives. Of particular significance were collaborations focused on exploring innovative teaching methods and developing joint publications aimed at addressing contemporary challenges in the field of mechanical engineering. These collaborations have not only enriched my academic experience but have also laid the groundwork for long-term partnerships between our institutions.

The positive experience of my mobility at the University of Montenegro has laid a solid foundation for future collaboration between our institutions. Opportunities for further collaboration include joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, and participation in international conferences and workshops. Building on the momentum generated during my visit, I am confident that our institutions can continue to strengthen their partnership, fostering academic excellence and promoting cultural exchange.
