Master Scholarships for Students of Engineering– Greece




 

Company Jugopterol AD, member of Hellenic Petroleum Group, awards scholarships for students of engineering and similar sciences, at the University of Technical Sciences in Cyprus, program – Oil Engineering. 

Scholarships will be awarded to students who meet conditions of the call, 20 of them, and they will include students from five countries not being members of the EU. Scholarship is provided for one student from Montenegro in duration of 12 months.

Research and lectures in Master program will be held in English language, with usage of innovational methods including guest lectures, seminars, research projects within area of Oil industry and Energetic market. Students will also be provided with practical lectures in the company and well as practical ways of decision-making not only in Greece but also in other countries where Hellenic Petroleum Group operates.

  1. Conditions for Awarding Scholarships

Candidates fulfilling the following terms have the right to apply for scholarship:

  1.  Finalized faculty from engineering areas (mechanics, metallurgy, chemistry, mechanics, physics (and similar), with minimal average grade 7. (Year of diploma 2015, 2016 and 2017);
  2. Active usage of English language (testing the language will be conducted via interviews with narrow circle of candidates);
  3. It is obligatory that candidate does not use any other scholarship.

Candidates who enter narrow selection will be interviewed and final selection of candidates is delegated to the bench leading the program at Technical University of Crete – Greece.

  3. Diploma copy on graduated studies and confirmation on average grade – stamped by notary;
  4. Confirmation on active usage of English (copy of index with the page of passed language exam, confirmation on finished course, diploma);
  5. Two letters of recommendation (form available on the Faculty site) - Advantage is if the recommendation arrives directly from e-mail of a recommendation giver, also written recommendations are accepted with contact for checking;
  6. Detailed CV of a candidate with stating possible experience from these area

III. Scholarship Amount

Students will have all costs covered for Master studies – scholarship in amount of 3 000 Euros, as well as accommodation and life costs in Greece in the amount of 1000 Euros per month (for period of 12 months).

  1. Deadline and Manner of Application

Application of students for scholarships in school year 2017/2018 is May 31st 2017.
