Center for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies

The Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro at the session held on 28.12.2022 adopted the Rulebook on the organization and work of the Center for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies, which regulates organization and work of the Center, as a special organizational unit of the University of Montenegro.

The Center for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies, in cooperation with its faculties and institutes, organizes and implements interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary undergraduate, master and doctoral studies, as well as lifelong learning programs.

Centre of the University shall:

• Launch initiative for Development of Elaborate for Interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary study programs, as well preparation of accreditation materials;
• Launch initiative and preparation of elaboration for organization of lifelong learning;
• Organize teaching and implementing teaching process on interdisciplinary/ multidisciplinary study programs with license;
• Organize of teaching and implementing lifelong learning program
• Submit Proposal to the Senate on issues related to study curricula that conduct plan of teaching organization and alike;
• issue diplomas;
• issue diplomas and certificates for lifelong programs
• define text of enrolment competition for enrolment into first year of studies, propose admission quota and scholarship amount;
• monitor and analyze students passing;
• meet working conditions on certain level of studies according to normative and accreditation studies standards;
• organize research of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary character;
• participate in implementation of joint projects with domestic and foreign partners of the University and give initiatives for establishing bilateral and multilateral cooperation;
• allocate and distribute funds awarded by the University and funds obtained by own activities in accordance with the Law, Statute and general acts;
• adopt annual working program of the Centre;
• other affairs arising from the Law, Statute and other regulations.
