Watersprite 2021 Film Festival competition

Watersprite Film Festival will take place from 5th to 7th March 2021, in Cambridge, UK, with a diverse offering of industry events, panel discussions, Q&A's, workshops and screenings, free of charge. The festival is looking for the world’s best short films in fiction, documentary and animation. For the past 11 years, Watersprite has received entries from 95 countries and provided a creative, inclusive space for the filmmakers of the next generation.

The Festival offers a wide array of exciting awards across several technical and genre categories, which aim to provide long term career support, offering unique opportunities, such as working with respected industry professionals and getting access to the best equipment available. Watersprite provide real, practical opportunities to progress your career in the creative industries.

Submissions deadline for Watersprite 2021 are closed, but certain countries, and among them Montenegro has the opportunity to use the waivers until 14th September 2020, by sending email at awards@watersprite.org.uk and request a waiver. Nominated filmmakers are offered a free travel and accommodation to experience the festival offer and opportunities.
