Open call for encouraging innovation in the function of energy efficiency in industry
The Innovation Fund of Montenegro has announced a Public Call for participation in the Program for Encouraging Innovations in the Function of Energy Efficiency in Industry. This Program was created as a result of the cooperation of the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, the Ministry of Science and Technological Development, the Ministry of Capital Investments and the Innovation Fund of Montenegro. The implementation of this pilot program is financed from the national budget of the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism in the amount of €1,000,000. As the main activity of the Fund includes the implementation of innovation policy through providing and directing financial resources from national, international and other sources towards the development of innovations in Montenegro, and it is also recognized as the implementation body for the Smart Specialization Strategy, the Fund will implement this program. The public call is open until October 31 at 3 p.m., and the necessary application documentation is published on the website of the Innovation Fund of Montenegro.
The main goal of this Program is to increase energy efficiency and/or increased use of available renewable energy sources by MSMEs in the processing industry by introducing innovative technologies. The right to participate in the Program is granted to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises whose main activity is registered in the processing industry sector in the Central Register of Business Entities, no later than 31.12.2021. year and who meet all the conditions prescribed by the Public Invitation. The amount of grants that can be awarded to an individual applicant and project is from 80,000 to 200,000 Euros. The maximum intensity of small value aid awarded within this Public Call is up to 80% of eligible costs.
The application procedure is simple and takes place electronically. The info day will be held in Podgorica at the Chamber of Commerce on October 2 at 11 a.m., and it will be possible to follow it via Zoom.
