About the DRG4Food project
DRG4Food is a newly launched EU-funded project, created as a pilot program aimed at researchers, startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the agri-food technology sector. Its primary goal is to stimulate digital innovation that will improve trust, transparency and accountability in the food industry, in line with the principles of digital responsibility. Through this comprehensive program, grants of up to €300,000 are available per pilot project (the total available fund is €1,900,000), with additional support in the form of intensive mentoring. The main intention of the DRG4Food project is to promote responsible data-based solutions that empower citizens, protect data-related rights and contribute to the creation of sustainable food systems.
