Elected full prof. Rajka Glušica, PhD for the Head of the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro
Full prof. Rajka Glušica, PhD, at the Faculty of Philology has been elected unanimously for the position of the Head of the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro.
The voting for the new Head followed the statement of the termination of the term of the current Head of the fifth convocation of the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro full prof. Duško Bjelica, PhD, who resigned from this position at his own request.
Also, the termination of the term of Secretary General Tijana Prelević was stated, who resigned at her personal request to the position where she was elected May 14, 2019, four a term of four years.
At the session, the Steering Committee stated, without discussion, that the positions of professor Bjelica and Mrs. Prelević had ceased to hold office.
Today, at the suggestion of the members of the Steering Committee, Budimir Aleksić, PhD, assoc. prof. Vladimir Božović, PhD, assoc. prof. MIlijana Novović Burić, PhD and full prof. Rajka Glušica, PhD, a decision was made to form a working bodies for finance and investments in order to increase efficiency of the work of the Steering Committee in this area.
The members of this working body will be assoc. prof. Milijana Novović Burić, PhD, full prof. Ana Lalević Filipović, PhD and full prof. Milan Lakićević, PhD at the Faculty of Economics and full prof. Radenko Pejović, PhD and full prof. Miloš Knežević, PhD at the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
Today, the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro has, with a positive opinion of the Senate and opinion of the Quality Assurance Center of the University of Montenegro, passed a decision on adopting the Elaborate of Justification of establishing an interdisciplinary doctoral study program Sustainable Development of the Center for Doctoral Studies at the University of Montenegro.
Also, on the agenda the topics of financial operations of the University of Montenegro were included.
It was stated that the Sector for Finance of the University of Montenegro submitted the Report on the collection of tuition fees for the academic year 2020/2021 as of December 15, 2020.
Approval was given to the Public Procurement Plan of the University of Montenegro for 2021, according to the proposal of the Rector, which was made by the Sector for Finance – Finance and Public Procurement Service in accordance with the notice published by the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare – Directorate for Public Procurement Policy and Law on Public Procurement (“Official Gazette of Montenegro”, no. 74/19).
The reports of the Internal Audit Service were also considered and those final reports of audits of personal incomes, during 2019, for employees at the Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Law.
Also, the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro introduced the Report of the University of Montenegro Faculty of Philology on the implementation of recommendations regarding the internal audit of personal incomes from its own funds for employees at the Faculty of Philology during 2019.
The Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro approved the University of Montenegro Institute of Marine Biology to participate in the open public procurement procedure for monitoring sanitary quality of sea water for swimming in Montenegrin sea in the 2021 season, announced by Public Company for managing marine good of Montenegro, no. 0204-2980/3 from December 29, 2020.
