Invitation to Students: Electronic Contract Signing

We invite students, if they havent already, to take advantage of the new digital service provided by the University of Montenegro and electronically sign their study contracts, which is a legal obligation. Completing this process also finalizes enrollment in the studies, and the signed contract is a prerequisite for taking exams.

The steps for enrollment and signing the study contract are as follows:

  1. The candidate activates their new ID card by clicking on the "Activate ID Card" link.

(For support regarding the activation of the ID card, you can contact the Service for Information and Communication Technologies, Information Security, and Technical Surveillance Systems of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, email address: sit@mup.gov.me, phone number: 067 286 750.)

The steps for enrollment and signing the study contract are as follows:

  1. The candidate applies for enrollment through the Electronic Enrollment platform: Upisi.edu.me.
  2. The candidate, who is ranked among the candidates eligible for enrollment, submits the original documentation to the Student Affairs Office, enrolls, and receives a card reader for their ID card from the responsible officer.
  3. The student electronically signs the study contract via the "Electronic Enrollment" platform: Upisi.edu.me.
  4. The Student Affairs Officer verifies whether the candidate has signed the contract and issues the student an index after confirming that the candidate has concluded the study contract.
  5. During exams, the teacher checks whether the student has their index. If the student does not have the index, the teacher directs them to the Student Affairs Office.

REMINDER: Electronic signing of study contracts is a prerequisite for enrollment at the University of Montenegro and allows study contracts to be signed and stored electronically through the Upisi.edu.me platform, eliminating the need for students to physically visit the universitys student affairs offices. This speeds up and simplifies the process of enrolling students in their first year of study, enables student affairs officers to review contracts (under the "Contracts" category on the platform), and reduces the overall procedure costs.

Instructions for enrollment via the electronic platform are published in the enrollment announcement, in daily newspapers, and on the official website www.ucg.ac.me.

A student who electronically enrolls in their studies must electronically sign the study contract. A written contract is only concluded in exceptional cases.
