Students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Montenegro are the new champions of the Montenegro Student Volleyball League, following their victory last night at the SKC Hall of the University of Montenegro.
In a surprising turn of events, the Electrical Engineering team easily triumphed over the slightly favored team from the Faculty of Economics with a score of 3-0.
From the beginning of the match, the Electrical Engineering team set a fierce pace, winning the first set 25:15. The continuation of the match showed no change in dynamics. Consistent serving, powerful spikes, and effective net play left the Economics team with little chance to win a set, finishing the second set at 25:19 and the third at 25:21, earning the Electrical Engineering team a well-deserved championship title.
Earlier, in the match for third place, a much more thrilling battle took place where the Faculty of Sports triumphed after five sets, with a score of 3:2 against the Student Dormitory from Nikšić.
At the end of the event, Miloš Vujošević, President of the Assembly of the Student Sports Association of Montenegro, presented trophies and medals to the winners.
