As part of the Festival of Arts, Science, and Culture (FUNK), within the "FUNK Speaker Series," two panel discussions titled "What (Dis)integrates Montenegro?" will be held. These discussions will take place in the lobby of the technical faculties at the University of Montenegro (UCG) on October 29 and 30, starting at 7:00 PM.

 

First Panel Discussion – Tuesday, October 29, at 7:00 PM

Second Panel Discussion – Wednesday, October 30, at 7:00 PM 

Venue: Lobby of the Technical Faculties, UCG

- Stefan Đukić – Political Analyst 

- Andrej Nikolaidis – Journalist, Writer, and Publicist 

- Balša Brković – Poet, Writer, and Publicist 

Moderator: Prof. Dr. Edin Jašarović

 

The panels will explore the dynamics of integration and disintegration within Montenegrin society, focusing on socio-political phenomena and past and present challenges. The discussions will center on how social changes manifest, whether integration or disintegration prevails, and what changes might be necessary. The participants will consider identity issues in Montenegro within the context of contemporary political and social challenges, including potential EU membership and intercultural dialogue. Additionally, the mechanisms that strengthen social cohesion and enhance multiethnic harmony will be analyzed, along with long-term strategies for improving interethnic dialogue in Montenegro.
