The Largest Institutional Incentive for Student Excellence so far: The University of Montenegro Ensured More than 70 Scholarships

The University of Montenegro has launched the initiative “Scholarships for the Best, Jobs with the Best” with a clear goal — to recognize the value of students’ knowledge, hard work, and dedication through direct financial support and opportunities for professional development.
Thanks to the support of the business sector, public enterprises, banks, and ministries, the University has secured more than 70 scholarships for this year, making this initiative, even in its first phase, the largest institutional incentive for student excellence in Montenegro.
The best students will receive financial support in the form of scholarships of €300 per month for ten months each year, as well as opportunities for professional training, internships, and employment in key sectors crucial for the development of society and the economy. In this way, the “Scholarships for the Best, Jobs with the Best” initiative becomes a clear invitation to the most talented students to stay, grow, and build their future right here, in their own country.
The scholarships will be implemented with the support of partners, including: Monteput, Railway Infrastructure of Montenegro, Regional Waterworks, Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG), Pljevlja Coal Mine, CEDIS, EPCG Solar Construction, CGES, Azoteq Montenegro, Crnogorski Telekom, Railway Transport of Montenegro, First Bank, Glosarij, Montefarm, Institute for Medicines and Medical Devices, Codra, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Energy and Mining, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Central Bank of Montenegro, Clinical Center of Montenegro, and the company One.
The University of Montenegro will announce the scholarship competition in October for the upcoming academic year. Eligible applicants include second- and third-year undergraduate students as well as master’s students who meet the requirements specified in the competition documentation.
The University of Montenegro also invites other socially responsible companies, institutions, and organizations to join the initiative and become part of a project that recognizes the value of knowledge, supports excellence, and provides opportunities for the best students to build their future right here, in Montenegro.
