FUNK Speaking Stand: Artificial Intelligence – Support or Threat to Education?

As part of the FUNK Speaker Series, a segment of the Festival of Art, Science and Culture organized by the University of Montenegro, a debate titled “Artificial Intelligence – Support or Threat to Education?” will be held on October 11 at 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Technical Faculties.

The debate participants will be Vuk Vuković, PhD, Dijana Vučković, PhD, and Dr. Ljubiša Bojić, who will discuss impacts and challenges that the development of artificial intelligence brings to education. Special emphasis will be placed on the changes in teaching and learning processes, the use of AI-based tools in formal education, and the implications these processes have for the autonomy of teachers and students, as well as for maintaining academic integrity.

The Festival of Art, Science and Culture – FUNK was launched last year as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University of Montenegro, with the goal of promoting art, science, and culture, as well as the university’s study programs and the scientific and artistic achievements of students and academic staff. This year, from October 1 to November 1, the festival features 30 programs across nine thematic segments: Speaker Series, Forum, Cinema, Theatre, Exhibition, Book, Workshops, Sports, and Concerts.
