Virtual Interactive Classrooms for Students on the University of Montenegro Established Continuity of Teaching


Online teaching of the University of Montenegro in real time, is performed though ZOOM application for which the Information System of the University of Montenegro created instruction for teachers for solving ambiguities and facilitate new conditions.

Ever since March 16th 2020 for the reasons of global pandemics caused by virus COVID19, deans on the recommendation of the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro organized teaching staff to hold continuity of teaching in virtual classrooms.

For ZOOM application is open on https://zoom.us/ where the lecture is registered, where most of students may actively participate.

Free version provides duration of 40 minutes of the lecture. After that time expires it is possible to continue by creating new online teaching.

Teaching staff has the freedom to choose the best kind of teaching dependent on the subject nature.

They have the possibility to upload content needed for students on official site of the University of Montenegro, as well as uploading multimedia presentation on Moodle platform, on http://dl.ucg.ac.me/, set by the Information System Centre of the University of Montenegro.

Information System Centre UMNE after receiving official mail of the teacher to the address nastava@ucg.ac.me, with data such as name of the faculty, name of study program, list of teachers created accounts for subjects on this platform and gave credentials to teachers (username and password) for accessing the subject.

For accessing this platform the official mail of the University of Montenegro is required.

For the students who have before taken or have forgotten username and password of the mail, Information System Centre of the University of Montenegro has developed electronic service Activate account so to facilitate for students to access online teaching through Moodle platform.

All what is needed is that the student fill in the template from https://aktivirajnalog.edu.ucg.ac.me/, and user data will be sent to the student via SMS.

Active communication with students teachers organize at their own choosing, and via other optional platforms they use other tools of electronic communication such as Facebook, Viber and Skype groups.
