SCUMNE: Financial Performance and Commence of New Dean’s Work of the Faculty of Fine Arts Discussed

Today, at the session of the Steering Committee of the University of Montenegro, among other things, financial business at the University of Montenegro was discussed.

UMNE Steering Committee Chairman, Dusko Belica, PhD, said that the Steering Committee had given consent to the UMNE Biotechnical Faculty to sign the Agreement with the Food, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Administration.

“The contract which signing will be authorized by the Dean of the Biotechnical Faculty, Božidarka Marković, PhD, refers to the provision of services related to implementation of part of the Program of Phytosanitary Measures for 2020, based on authorizations granted by the Food, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Affairs Directorate to the Biotechnical Faculty. The total value of the contract is 161,000.00 euros, VAT included,” Chairman Bjelica said.

Out of revenues generated on this basis, he adds, funds are allocated to budget of the University of Montenegro in accordance with the Statute of the University of Montenegro and other general acts.

Today, amendments to the UMNE Financial Plan for 2020 and the Public Procurement Plan have also been adopted, at the proposal of the Rector of the University of Montenegro.

Also, reports of the Internal Audit Service of the University of Montenegro in the process of controlling individual business processes at the University of Montenegro were adopted.

Beginning of the work of the new Dean headed by the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Professor Marko Marković, was also announced today, upon expiration of the term of previous Dean, Professor Ratko Odalović. The new Dean will serve in his capacity for the term from 2020 to 2023.
