In the IV Enrolment Period, 285 Places at the University of Montenegro
The University of Montenegro enabled candidates who failed to enrol in the third enrolment period, as well as candidates who did not meet the enrolment criteria at the admission exams of the faculties and academies that organize them, to get another chance in the fourth enrolment period.
Vice Rector for Teaching at the University of Montenegro Đurđica Perović, PhD, said that the enrolment procedure according to the competition for the third term will be completed by tomorrow, but that we can already talk about preliminary results and remaining places for the faculties in the fourth term, of which there are 285. "Within this period, there are places for lovers of philology, i.e. for learning and getting to know the language and literature at the Faculty of Philology, in the following programs: Montenegrin language and South Slavic literature (19), Serbian language and South Slavic literature (27), Italian language and literature (26), Russian Language and Literature (24), French Language and Literature (26). Also, at the Faculty of Philosophy, there are vacancies in the programs: Philosophy (1), History (17) and Teacher Education in the Albanian language (8) ", Perović said. She adds that there are places at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, in the study programs Mechanical Engineering (23) and Road Traffic (14). "For Mediterranean fruit growing, the study program of the Biotechnical Faculty, whose classes are organized in Bar, there are eight (8) places left," Vice-Rector Perović said. At art faculties, for which it is necessary to take an admission exam, candidates can apply at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, for the programs Drama and Theatre (9), Acting (2), Film and Media (6), while at the Music Academy there are places in programs Performing Arts (7) and General Music Pedagogy (4).
"The schedule of taking the admission exams of the faculties and academies that have them will be posted on their website, within the official website of the University of Montenegro (www.ucg.ac.me). All admission exams are taken in accordance with the prescribed measures of the National Coordination Body for Infectious Diseases ", Vice-Rector Perović points out.
Admission exams will be organized in the fourth term, and the Faculty of Medicine, for the remaining places in the study programs Medicine (10) and Dentistry (9) in the faculty building, as well as the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, for the study program Physical Culture and Healthy Lifestyles ), at the pool of the Sports Centre and at the stadium of FC Sutjeska, in Nikšić.
"Of the other faculties, there will be places at the Faculty of Science: Mathematics (10), Physics (13), then at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor, Maritime Electrical Engineering (2) and at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, Metallurgy and Materials (15)", announced Vice Rector Perović.
Competition for enrolment of students in the first year of undergraduate studies, for the study year 2020/21. year, for the IV enrolment period, will be published on Friday, September 11, 2020, in daily newspapers published in Montenegro, as well as on the website of the University.
Applications will be submitted on Monday, September 14th, 2020, electronically.
