Scholarships of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy

Hereby we would like to inform all interested parties that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in order to support cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture, science and technology, as well as the spread of Italian language and culture, awards Montenegrin citizens 27 months of scholarships for academic 2022/2023. 

Scholarships are awarded for a period of 6 or 9 months, or 3 months for Italian language and culture courses, in the amount of 900 euros per month.

 

Interested parties can apply for the following programs:

 

  • Specialist / master studies in Italy
  • High Scholarships in Music and the Arts (AFAM)
  • PhD studies
  • Research projects in mentoring, at Italian public institutions
  • Advanced Italian language and culture courses (lasting 3 months)

 

Conditions for applying are as follows:

 

  • Appropriate diploma for enrollment in selected studies
  • Knowledge of Italian at least at the B2 level (CEFR, with the appropriate certificate, or a certificate from the faculty of attendance and knowledge of Italian).
  • Enrollment in studies conducted entirely in English does not require knowledge of Italian but knowledge of English at least at level B2 (CEFR, with the appropriate certificate attached to the scholarship application).
  • To enroll in advanced courses in Italian language and culture, the candidate must enclose a certificate of language proficiency at level A2 (CEFR, with the appropriate certificate, or a certificate from the faculty of attendance and knowledge of Italian).
  • For scholarships for specialist / master studies, higher studies in music and arts (AFAM) as well as for Italian language and culture courses, candidates under 28 years of age can apply up to the end of the competition (June 9, 2022). ); for doctoral students, candidates who are not more than 30 years old until the end of the competition; for educational and research programs in cooperation with Italian institutions, candidates who are not more than 40 years old until the end of the competition period.

 

The application is done exclusively electronically by filling in the application form on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy
