Students of UoM ready for Erasmus+ exchange in Winter semester

The International Relations Office held the Pre-departure Day to inform and prepare students for the Erasmus+ exchange. At the beginning of each semester, the International Relations Office organizes the preparation meeting for students who will spend a semester at one of the European universities, with which the University of Montenegro cooperates within the Erasmus+ programme.

The event gathered Erasmus+ grantees with an aim to present and explain important parts of their stay abroad. There was a particular focus on necessary administrative obligations such as Learning Agreement, Grant Agreement, bank account, and, above all, complaining with Erasmus+ rules and procedures.

Representatives of Buddy Network, and Erasmus+ alumni, also participated in the event. They shared with students their experiences and gave them practical recommendations about the search for accommodation, participation in Erasmus Student Network, as well as other important details.

Having in mind that travelling abroad for studies gives many opportunities and benefits for both personal and professional growth, while for students also means leaving their comfort zone, Erasmus+ grantees had an opportunity to share and solve their doubts, as well as to prepare for possible cultural shock which is very common in the first days in different surroundings.

About 50 students of the University of Montenegro will be studying at partner universities in Europe in the winter semester of 2022/2023.
