Representatives of the University of Montenegro and Hipotekarna banka discussed the possibilities of cooperation

Opportunities to support students of the University of Montenegro on their career path through the digital platform Jobiri, were the reason for the meeting of the owner of the Hipotekarna banka Miljan Todorović and his associates with the Vice-Rector of the University of Montenegro assoc. prof. Sanja Peković, PhD and the manager of the Career Center of the University of Montenegro Ivica Todorović.

The owner of Hipotekarna banka, Mr. Todorović, expressed the Bank's readiness, as a socially responsible company, to support the efforts of the University of Montenegro and the Career Center in providing support to students in connecting with the business world by investing in access to this digital platform.

The Jobiri platform, which would contain profiles of registered students and employers who have cooperation with the University of Montenegro, is a tool to help, especially for young people, in all steps on the way to work. During the creation of CVs and cover letters, through this platform, students can get help through ready-made models describing work experience or motivation. The platform also contains 145 video tutorials lasting three minutes each, which follow the complete job search process, starting from creating a CV and cover letter, to preparing for an interview and feedback on performance, explained Bojana Perović, founder of the Minute to Work Agency and representative of the digital platform Jobiri in Montenegro. She added that this platform would represent, above all, administrative assistance to the Career Center, in monitoring students on their career path.

Vice-Rector Peković welcomed the interest of the Hipotekarna banka to support students of the University of Montenegro, especially at a time when they face the challenges of the pandemic and when they need to strengthen and develop digital skills and computer literacy, even in the field of finding their way in business.

The manager of the Career Center of the University of Montenegro Todorović presented the activities of this center as a support service for students with the aim of better preparation for the labor market and encouraging the development of entrepreneurial awareness, but also support for high school students in choosing a future vocation and preparation for academia. He expressed satisfaction with the opening of opportunities for cooperation and its formalization in the field, which can administratively greatly facilitate the work of the Career Center.
