Presentation of the New Version of the DMS Digital Archive
The DMS Center of Information System of the University of Montenegro has developed the Document Management System (DMS)- Digital Archive of the University of Montenegro, the documents management and archiving system within business processes at the University of Montenegro.
Digital Archive is constituted in accordance with the Procedures and Instruction on Office Business of Montenegro and uses classification plan of the University. The system provides documents storage and scrutiny of every step in business processes, documents flows management, and significantly promotes efficiency of employees in archives of the University units and efficient research of central documents archive.
Digital Archive is initially used in the Rectory of the University after which, its functionalities are further developed in order to include and archive university units.
Presentation for archivist of university units was organized on Thursday, March 14th, 2019.
Director of the Center of Information System, Miodrag Zarubica greeted present persons and announced key advantages that the system will introduce in every day work. The presentation was held by Director of the section for development and maintenance, Luka Filipovic. Responses for specific issues in everyday practice was provided by main archivist of the Rectorate, Slavica Labovic within discussion with future customers.
