Final Olympics in robotics is held in Djeri, Hungary, and assembled teams from 74 countries worldwide. At the call of organizer, special guests of the Olympics on behalf of the University of Montenegro were Igor Vušanović, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Marina Mijanović Markuš, PhD, manager of the multidisciplinary study program Mechatronics.

In conversations with host it was agreed to initiate procedure of membership of Montenegro into this most important competition of robotics in the world, and the first step is signing agreement to be signed on behalf of the University of Montenegro, officially by Rector UoM, Danilo Nikolic, PhD.

Ideas and energy showed by students of elementary and high schools from the world convinced us in the need and importance of initiating introduction of courses for robotics into elementary and high-schools in Montenegro and organizing first national competition in robotics, providing Montenegro with the opportunity to be included in the most prestigious competition in robotics globally, with the aim to introduce so called STEM approach in educating profiles of technical vocation that necessary for Montenegro.
