Scholarships of the Republic of Italy




For academic 2017/2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of the Republic of Italy shall award 18 months of scholarships to Montenegrin citizens, with intention to support international cultural cooperation, better knowledge of Italian language, culture and science, as well as with the aim to encourage Italian economic and technological system in the world. Applications may be submitted until May 10th 2017 (until midnight).

Scholarships, in monthly amount of 900 Euros, are awarded for the period of 3, 6 and 9 months, for the following levels:

  1. a)  Specialisation/master studies (2°ciclo),
  2. b)  Master I and II level,
  3. c)  Research PhD theses,
  4. d)  Specialisations (except in the area of medicine),
  5. e)  Educational and research programs in cooperation with Italian National Centre for Research and Higher Institute for Health, or with any other pubic university, museum or archive institution.
  6. f)  Higher studies in area of music and arts (including International School for Higher Education and study of the Higher Institute for Conservation and Restoration and National Film School),
  7. g)  Advanced courses of Italian language and Culture (in duration of three months),
  8. h)  Professional improvement for professors of Italian (in duration of one month).

Candidates must meet the conditions as follows:

-  Having an adequate diploma for enrolment to suitable level,

-  Italian language level B2 (CEFR, with submitting suitable confirmation). For enrolment to courses of Italian and Culture it is needed to know Italian language A2 (CEFR, with submitting adequate confirmation). For enrolment to courses held completely in English there is no need for Italian.

-  Age between 18 and 36. Candidates applying for the first time for the first year of PhD shall not be older than 33 years. For improvement/training for professors of Italian may candidate persons from 18 to 45 years of age.
