Cooperation between the University of Montenegro and industry presented at the conference of the European project INO NET

The University of Montenegro presented its activities in the field of promoting cooperation with the business sector-industry in the country at today's final conference of the European project "Promotion of innovation culture and support for cooperation between actors in research, education and innovation area (INO NET)". The conference "Application of innovations in science and economy in Montenegro" was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development, the University of Montenegro and the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, with the aim of presenting regulatory, infrastructural and research potential and activities as fundamental context of Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem. The conference was also an opportunity for business sector representatives to present their innovations and exchange experiences from practice.

Within the presentation of activities and current projects, Ms. Srna Sudar, Head of the Center for Technology Transfer at the University of Montenegro, introduced Erasmus + projects REBUS, e-VIVA, KnowHow and the latest SUCCESS, in which the University of Montenegro as a partner deploy available good practices of European universities and scientific research institutions to enhance entrepreneurial competencies among students and deepen and diversify cooperation with companies, thus strengthening the environment for innovation and creating a system for a sustainable university. Special emphasis was given to the newest SUCCESS project, within which a survey on university-business cooperation was recently conducted, and the results, data and conclusions were presented as potential for further work to address challenges and therefore generate an efficient innovation system in the Country, where academic and business community works closely together and makes the best use of its potentials and resources.
