Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 is the financial instrument and the EU's largest research and innovation framework program implementing the Innovation Union, a Europe 2020 flagship initiative aimed at securing Europe's global competitiveness. The Horizon 2020 program focuses on innovations and results that have market value and applicability.

Considering that research and innovation are the core of future sustainable development, Horizon 2020 Program, with its structure and budget, provide essential supports to economic development and job creation that serve the environment and sustainable societies. Development based on sound science, industrial leadership, technological innovation and addressing societal challenges, provides the basis for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and job creation.

The EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation will be complemented by further measures to complete and further develop the European Research Area, aiming at creation of a single market for knowledge, research and innovation.

The Institute-Center of Excellence for Research and Innovation of the University of Montenegro invites all interested parties to subscribe on the participants portal of the European Commission "Research and Innovation", in order to follow the events and activities within the Horizon 2020 program.
