Online info day - "Facilitating research and innovation cooperation in the Danube Region", 28.10.2021.

Online info day on "Facilitating research and innovation cooperation in the Danube Region", as part of the 7th priority area of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region that refers to the development of the knowledge society, will be organized on October 28, 2021.

This event aims to bring closer the horizontal area of the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation - “Widening participation and spreading excellence” and strengthening the European Research Area, and thus increase the participation of countries from the Danube region in the program. The Info Day will present current and upcoming calls in the given area, with an emphasis on novelties, opportunities and concrete actions. In addition to the structure and criteria, participants will hear more about some of the successfully implemented projects in previous EU framework programs.

The initiative is primarily focused on the following calls within the area of “Widening participation and spreading excellence” part of Horizon Europe and strengthening the European Research Area (with possibility of expansion and future calls in this field):

• Twining HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03-01

• Excellence Hubs HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-04-01

            (Application deadline: March 15, 2022)

• ERA Chairs: HORIZON-WIDERA-2022-TALENTS-01-01

           (Application deadline: March 15, 2022)

In line with the adopted practice of promoting networking and pairing of organizations, this event will be accompanied by continuous virtual B2B meetings, until March 15, 2022 (matchmaking) to facilitate establishment of partnerships and consortia for the preparation of project proposals.

Registration for participation in the online info day is open until October 27, 2021, accompanied by the opportunity to create professional profile of participants for effective connection with potential partners and matchmaking.
