Call for Submitting Proposal of the Project: Program of the Danube Region for period 2021-2027

The first call for project proposals under the Danube Region Program (DRP) for the period 2021-2027 has been announced, and the deadline for applications in the form of expressions of interest is November 21, 2022, at 2 p.m.
The invitation is open to all public institutions, authorities, international organizations, non-profit organizations, private companies and private profit organizations from Montenegro, which apply for funds in partnership with entities from the program area.
In addition to Montenegro, the program area includes 13 other countries located in the Danube basin: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Moldova, Germany (federal states of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria), Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia and Ukraine.
This call is aimed at three thematic priorities of the Program, as well as one specific goal within the fourth thematic priority:
1. A smarter Danube region
2. A greener, low-carbon Danube region
3. A more social Danube region4.
Better cooperation in the field of management: Goal 4.2 Increased institutional capacities for territorial and macro-regional management
The call consists of two phases:
The first phase involves the submission of an expression of interest, within which the main idea of the project and its strategic importance for the Danube Region Program must be presented. The mentioned expression of interest is submitted through the Jems system. No additional documentation is required at this stage. The second phase involves submitting a complete application with the necessary documentation through the Jems system, including annexes. Interested subjects can access the second stage of application only if their proposal was positively evaluated in the first stage. The program of the Danube region is for the period 2021-2027 brings several novelties compared to the previous program: The contribution of the European Union is 80% of the total amount of the project;
• Leading partners can be entities from EU member states and non-EU states (Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Moldova);
• Combined funds of Interreg funds (ERDF, IPA and NDICI) from which projects are financed. Important documentation for the preparation of project proposals:
