ONEMED CALL FOR CAPITALISATION PROJECTS
Newly published ENI CBC Med Programme (May 6, 2020) launched a call to finance €11 million to capitalisation projects (and replication), fostering transfer, exploitation and mainstreaming of knowledge and results developed under different Euro-Mediterranean initiatives, including the ENPI/ENI CBC Med Programmes, the Union for the Mediterranean and the Interreg MED Programme. The capitalisation theme of this call is an innovative process that will enable the uptake of the results of different projects and programmes through identified successful and efficient practices, ensuring their promotion, dissemination, replication and mainstreaming in public policies. Applicants may consider results, knowledge and experiences from other programmes and initiatives: Interreg programmes with a Mediterranean coverage, WestMED and BlueMed, PRIMA, regional and bilateral cooperation under the European Neighbourhood Instrument, etc.
The call activities should aim at socio-economic regeneration across the Mediiterranean area, for:
■ Job and business creation;
■ Transition to carbon-neutral economies;
■ Efficient delivery of social care services;
■ Support to the most vulnerable people.
through 4 thematic objectives and 11 priorities, i.e.:
■ Business and SMEs development (start-ups; economic clusters; sustainable tourism);
■ Technology transfer and innovation (commercialisation of research results; SMEs access to research and innovation);
■ Social inclusion and fight against poverty (professionalization of NEETS and women; social and solidarity economy);
■ Environment and climate change (water efficiency; waste management; energy efficiency; integrated coastal zone management).
Grants: from €0.5 to €1 million (90% of the eligible costs).
Eligibility: Both public and private organisations, located in the eligible territories of the following 14 participating countries can participate in the call: Algeria*, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia. Partnerships shall be composed of a minimum of 5 different eligible countries, including at least 1 Mediterranean Partner Country and 1 EU Mediterranean Country.

* Please note that the participation of Algeria is under suspension clause. Entities located in the eligible territories of Algeria may apply for this call for proposals but can receive Programme funds only if Algeria signs the Financing Agreement with the European Commission within the deadline of the call.
