4th Call for project proposals under the programme IPA CBC Montenegro - Albania (2014-2020)

The fourth Call for project proposals under the programme IPA CBC Montenegro-Albania (2014-2020) has been published, with a deadline for submission of proposals until 15th of June 2023. Projects should contribute to attaining one of the following two specific objectives:

  • Enhancement of the competitiveness of tourism sector through economic valorisation of cultural and natural heritage (duration of project between 18 and 36 months, with the amount of EU grant between 300.000 and 900.000 EUR).
  • Promoting employment, labour mobility, and social and cultural inclusion (duration of project between 18 and 24 months, with the amount of EU grant between 300.000 and 450.000 EUR)

EU grant covers up to 85% of project expenses. The total amount of EU grant available for all projects in this Call is 2.809.690,24 EUR.

Project activities in Montenegro must take place in one or more of the following municipalities: Andrijevica, Berane, Plav, Gusinje, Petnjica, Rozaje, Danilovgrad, Podgorica, Zeta, Tuzi, Cetinje, Budva, Bar, Ulcinj. If the lead applicant is from Montenegro, there must be at least one co-applicant from Albania, and vice versa. Apart form the lead applicant there could be a maximum of 4 co-applicants in a project.

In this Call the following limitations apply regarding the number of submitted and selected project proposals for one institution:

  • The lead applicant may not submit more than 2 project proposals.
  • The lead applicant may not be awarded more than 1 grant.
  • The institution may not be a co-applicant in more than 2 project proposals.
  • The institution may not be awarded for more than 1 project proposal as a co-applicant.

These limitations are related to the university as a whole. Failure to comply with the limitations prescribed by the Call leads to the elimination of all project applications submitted by the given institution.
