New Online Course: Cybersecurity for Organizations

The Cybersecurity Innovation Hub of the University of Montenegro, established within the Ulysseus network, has opened applications for an online course titled Cybersecurity for Organizations. The course is intended for students at all levels of study, as well as academic and non-academic staff who wish to enhance their knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.

Course will be delivered online from April 6 to May 18, and applications are open until March 30 via REGISTRATION FORM. The course consists of six modules and lasts six weeks, delivered through the Moodle platform.

Aim of the course is to provide participants with an understanding of fundamental principles of cybersecurity in an organizational environment, with a special focus on the human factor and everyday digital habits that can significantly impact the security of institutions and companies. Through interactive content, case studies, and analysis of modern security incidents, participants will become familiar with the most common cyber threats, such as phishing attacks, ransomware, and various forms of social engineering.

A special segment of the course is dedicated to the legal and regulatory aspects of cybersecurity, as well as ways in which employees can contribute to building a culture of security within organizations. Participants will gain practical knowledge of basic digital hygiene principles, safe use of technologies, and the application of security policies in everyday work.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to recognize potential cyber threats, apply basic protection measures, and actively contribute to strengthening the security culture within their organizations.
