Born on 22nd February 1956. in Berane (Montenegro). He finished high school in Bijelo Polje. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Sarajevo. He received the title of Master of Technical Sciences at the Architectural Faculty of the University of Belgrade in the field of "Architectural composition". The master's degree was awarded the prestigious "Milorad Macura" award by the Institute for Architecture and Urban Planning of Serbia. He received the title of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the field of architecture and urbanism at the Faculty of Technical Sciences-Department of Architecture and Urban Planning in Novi Sad. Theoretical research is focused on perceptive processes in architecture and architectural composition.
He earned his first job at the Institute for Urban Planning and Design in Bijelo Polje.He started his own project burau ,ARHING Engineering, in 1990. He has been employed at the University of Montenegro since 2008.
In professional practice, he has realized over a hundred objects, five of them according to the first-ranked competition solutions.
Two objects have been published in eminent, international, journals for realized architectural works.The Word Architecture magazine, in the thematic number dedicated to funeral architecture, has included the structure of the chapel in Bijelo Polje among thirteen objects of that kind, from all over the world.
Winner of the prestigious award "Borba" for the best realized architectural work in Montenegro in 1990, third award at the international salon of urbanism in Nis 2011,as well as the "CEMEX" award 2014. at the state level in Mexico. In 2018, he received the first prize at the state and third prize at "CEMEX" awards at the international level in Mexico. Nominated for the international prestigious awards: "Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2010, Geneva" and "Mies Van Rohe Award for Architecture 2011, Barcelona".
Due to his work, according to the nomination of the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, represented Montenegro at the XII International Biennial of Architecture in Venice, 2010 (one of the three exhibited projects).
The Role of the Commissar of the National Exhibition at the XIII International Biennale of Architecture in Venice, commissioned by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro in 2012.
He exhibited, by the choosing of the selection jury, at the East Centric Architecture Triennale in Bucharest 2013 and 2016.
Participant of five architectural salons, according to the decisions of the selection jury, in Belgrade.
Participant of three salons of architecture of the Association of Architects of Montenegro, Podgorica.
The author of the exhibition of Montenegrin recent architecture "GO BEYOND" 2006-2016, Podgorica 2016.
One of the four equal authors of the exhibition of the Montenegrin Vernacular Architecture in Beijing in 2016 and in Cetinje in 2017.
Author of a number of scientific works, a book as well as a monograph published by the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.
One of the authors of parts of three monographs of international significance.
Guest editor of the AR magazine of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana (AR 2017/1).
He worked as a visiting professor at architectural faculties in Belgrade, Ljubljana and Ankara(MET U), Bari (Politecnico di Bari).
From 2008-2012 he served as president of the Association of the Association of Architects of Montenegro.
Regular member of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Montenegro since 2008.
Member of the Board for Architecture and Urbanism of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.
