Biography - Adžić Novak

BIOGRAPHY

NOVAK V. ADŽIĆ was born on January 5, 1975, in Cetinje, where he finished his primary and secondary school. He graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro, in Podgorica. He received his Master’s degree in 2012 at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Montenegro, in Nikšić. He is a Doctorand of Historical Sciences at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Montenegro. He completed his traineeship in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and then worked as an advisor for two years. From October 2003 to June 2007, he worked as Advisor to the Deputy of Prime Minister of the Republic of Montenegro.  From June 2007 to October 2009, he worked as Assistant Minister of Culture, Sports and Media in the Government of Montenegro – Head of the Department for European Integration and International Cooperation. From October 2009 to June 2017, he was Director of Intellectual Property Office, an authority of the Government of Montenegro.

Since 2012, he has been an assistant in the study programme for history at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić on four courses: Introduction to History with historiography 1 and 2, and   History of Yugoslavia 1 and 2.

For a long time he has been actively involved in the study of the national history of Montenegro. He published thirteen scientific discussions and monographs in the field of history as well as a number of works in periodicals in Montenegro and beyond.
