Biography - Topalović Ana

Ana (Tomo) Topalović was born in 1975 in Berane (Ivangrad in SFRY, The Republic of Montenegro). As a graduated engineer of chemical technology, has been employed by Biotechnical Faculty of University of Montenegro since 15th June 2000. In the same year she enrolled in graduate studies at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, Department of Analytical Chemistry. Master thesis titled "Chemical speciation of phosphate in calcareous soils," defended in 2006. PhD thesis "Effect of foliar nutrition on the chemical composition of some secondary metabolites of grapes" defended at the Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade in December 2012. Since 2012, she has been an active member of the American Chemical Society (ACS).

Since 2006, she has been engaged in education of students on courses of Chemistry and Agrochemistry at Biotechnical Faculty, and since 2016 on Soil Protection at Faculty of Metalurgy and Technology. She became a higher researcher for Agrochemistry and Soil Chemistry in 2010, Assistant Professor in 2019, and Associate Professor for Agrochemistry in 2024.

She finished training courses in the area of agrochemistry in CIHEAM-IAMB/Bari, Italy (June - July 2002), IAEA – Food Safety Laboratories/Seibersdorf, Austria (September - November 2005) and Biotechnical Faculty of University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (Mart - April 2007).

She is a member of Editorial board of national scientific journal "Agriculture and Forestry" (www.agricultforest.ac.me).
