Biography - Šibalić Nikola

I was born on December 28, 1975 in Žabljak, Republic of Montenegro. I finished elementary and high school in Žabljak, natural-mathematical modul. After finishing high school in 1994, I enrolled in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica at the University of Montenegro. I graduated in the department of Production Engineering. In 2002, I defended a thesis titled "Modeling the volume shaping of metals in open die using the finite element method". After graduation I enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica, University of Montenegro, Department of Production Engineering, modul Production Technology. That same year I went to serve military service. After finishing my military duty, I continued my postgraduate studies and passed all the prescribed exams with an average grade of 9.77. I defended my master's thesis entitled "Modeling of bulk metal forming processes using methods of physical discretization and numerical simulation". I enrolled in doctoral studies in 2007 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica, University of Montenegro. I defended my doctoral dissertation entitled "Modeling and Simulation of the Process of Joining by Deformation - FSW " on July 9, 2010 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica.

Since 2007, I have been employed at the University of Montenegro, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica. In the title of assistant professor I was selected at 2014 in the field of Production Engineering. I teach courses: Processing by Cutting; CAD/CAE/CAM; Machine Tools; Designing Technological Procedures; Rapid Prototyping; CNC Machines; Sensors, Measurements and Signal Processing. I also teach practice of subject Technology of Machine Processing.
