Biography - Radulović Zorica

Zorica Radulović was born on 15. September 1960 in Novo Selo near Danilovgrad. She finished Primary school in Spuž and Gymnasium in Danilovgrad. She is a holder of Luča degree.
She finished studied of Serbo-Croatian language and literature with an average grade 8.54 during studies and the highest grade A at the graduation exam (The name of diploma paper was The Language of Marko Miljanov). She was the first graduate professor at this department. Her great success during her studies enabled her to immediately enroll in postgraduates studies at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, at the Department for Linguistics. She passed all the exams on time and with the highest possible grades. She defended master thesis entitled Development of Grammatical Thought in Serbia and Montenegro until 1850 on 20. June 1986. Immediately after defending her master thesis, she took a theme for her doctoral dissertation Language and Style of ČedoVuković, which she defended at Faculty of Philology in Belgrade on 20. May 1991.
After completing her studies in 1983, Zorica Radulović started working at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić as an assistant – intern for Serbo-Croatian language and literature and she was chosen as a teaching assistant at the same department in 1985. She held exercise in Contemporary Serbo-Croatian language at departments for foreign languages (Department of English Language and Department of Russian Language).
In the first election period from 1983 till 1985 (assistant – intern) she held exercises in the Syntax of Simple and Complex Sentences and Syntax of Cases and Verbs. In the second period (1985-1991), she heldseminar exercisesin Syntax I and II. She was elected as an assistant professor at the same university for the Contemporary Serbian language (Phonetics and Phonology) in 1991, and re-elected for the same position and the same discipline in 1997. The title of associate professor she gainedon 29 March 2002. Beside Phonetics and Phonology, she has taught Stylistics at the same department since 2004, and Morphology and Word formation since 2005. Since 2006 she has been teaching Linguistic stylistics and a part of Syntax of cases and verbs (seminar papers).
The title of full professor she gained on 5. July 2007 and since than she has been teaching: Standardization and Orthography, Phonetics and Phonology, Morphology, Word formation and Linguistic Stylistics I and II at the Departments of Montenegrin language and South Slavic literatures, Linguistic Stylistics I and II at the Department of Serbian and South Slavic Literatures and Stylistics at the Department of English Language and Literature (postgraduates studies).
During 2006 she wasthe Head of Department of Serbian Language and South Slavic Literatures. She was mentor for twenty-five graduate theses. She has been a member of the Committee for Language CANU and the member of the Language Institute CANU for Standardization of Serbian (now Montenegrin) language since 1998. She was the first editor of the magazine for literature and language - Riječ.
Zorica Radulović has published six books (Razvoj gramatičke misli u Srbiji i Crnoj Gori do 1850, Univerzitetska riječ, Nikšić, 1990, 108 p.; Jezik i stil Čeda Vukovića, ITP Unireks DD Nikšić, 1994, 238 p.; Alhemija riječi, Unireks, Podgorica, 2002, 248 p.; Iz lingvističke problematike, Kolo, Kulturno-prosvjetna zajednica, Podgorica, 2004, 190p.; Pesma i žena (antologija), Kolo, Nikšić, 2006, 370 p.; Ogledi, prikazi, stavovi, Unireks – Janiks, Podgorica 2001, 297 p. and 142 other contributions from the linguistic and stylistic problems. She has published over forty reviews on literary production.
