Biography - Bojičić Gordana

Gordana Luburić graduated from the Department of Italian Language and Literature, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Montenegro in Nikšić. She gained her Masters at the Faculty of Philology at Belgrade University in 2008. She successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled Teaching and learning grammar of Italian as a foreign language in formal education in 2017 at the Faculty of Philology, University of Banja Luka. Thanks to the scholarships and grants of Italian institutions, she has attended several courses and seminars in the field of Italian language, culture and intercultural communication (Perugia, Bari, Rome). She has been working at the University of Montenegro since 2004. She teaches the subjects Basics of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology and Italian Language Teaching Methodology with Teaching Practice, as well as translation and grammar exercises as part of the Modern Italian Language module. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences in the area of methodics of teaching foreign languages and applied linguistics, and has published several articles in international peer-reviewed linguistic journals and in proceedings of international linguistic conferences, including conferences on Italian studies. Her research interests are in the areas of Italian linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Educational Linguistics, SLA and Italian language teaching pedagogy. She has been engaged in an international project of UTET publishing group (Dizionario degli italianismi). She has also held five seminars for teachers of Italian as a foreign language in Montenegro. She is a member of commission for Curricula for Italian as Foreign Language, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Montenegro. She also collaborates with Montenegrin Ministry of Education, through the Examination Center of Montenegro, where she is a regular member of state exam commissions at the national external exams and national elementary and high school competitions in Italian language. Additionally, she works as freelance translator from and into Italian, as well as a court interpreter appointed by the Minister of Justice of Montenegro in 2010. In October 2018, she obtained the qualification of the official CELI examiner from the University for Foreigners of Perugia. CELI (Certificato di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana) is an internationally recognized qualification of the Italian language.
