The Charter of Internal Audit of the University of Montenegro was signed today by the Acting Rector of the University of Montenegro, full prof. Vladimir Božović, PhD and the head of the Internal Audit Service, Predrag Radunović, MSc.

The Internal Audit Charter is a formal document that defines the purpose, powers and responsibilities of internal audit activities in accordance with the Internal Audit Mission and the mandatory elements of the International Framework of Professional Internal Audit Practice.

The Charter establishes the position of the Internal Audit Service at the University of Montenegro, including the nature of the functional reporting relationship of the Rector, ie management by the Head of the Internal Audit Service, Internal Audit Services.

The Internal Audit Service is obliged by this charter to provide the Rector with objective and expert opinion and advice on the adequacy of the functioning of the management system, risk management and controls, in accordance with the law.

The audit covers all programs, activities and processes at the University of Montenegro, including system audit, compliance, business performance, financial audit and information systems audit. It also includes an audit of the use of EU funds and other funds and resources provided by international bodies or institutions.

The Internal Audit Charter entered into force today, with the signing by the Rector of the University of Montenegro and the Head of the Internal Audit Service, which terminated the Internal Audit Charter No. 01-34, signed on January 11, 2018.
