MECO Conference for 11 Years among the World's Technological Elite: Again in Budva on June 7-10
The leading international conference in the field of computer science MECO2022, which has been an important place among the world's technological elite for 11 years, will be held in Budva, at the Hotel Budva, from June 7 to 10, with an official opening at 9.00 on June 7.
One of direct founders of the Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computer Systems - MECO, Radovan Stojanović, PhD, announced that this year's conference will include 600 authors from five continents, from 51 countries, with 152 scientific papers, 13 sections and 30 sessions. It will be attended by the world's leading universities, companies, institutions and scientists in high technology and information and communication technologies (ICT).
"After 11 years of operation, without a doubt, MECO is one of the largest Montenegrin brands in science, high technology and innovation. The collection of papers is 750 pages long and contains only full, strictly peer-reviewed papers. Due to popularity of the topic and expansion of IoT technologies, this year a large increase in participants recorded a workshop on cyber physical systems and the Internet of Things Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet-of-Things - CPSIoT2022. The third summer school on the same topic gathers about 80 participants from 27 countries, from the most prestigious technical universities in Europe and the United States ", Professor Stojanović said.
Due to the improved epidemiological situation, the Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing Systems - MECO program will be implemented in a combined form, online and on site.
"MECO is not just a conference, it is a strong movement of universities, scientific and technological institutions and individuals that dictates trends in the field of computer and related sciences not only in the Mediterranean and Europe but also in the world. The MECO consortium consists of 20 renowned institutions, including from Montenegro, the University of Montenegro, MANT Association, Innovative Company MECOnet, the Ministry of Montenegro, Chikom, Elkon. There are also umbrella institutions for electrical, electronics, telecommunications and computer engineers IEEE, EuroMicro as well as foreign universities and institutions including: Technical University of Eindhoven, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade and Zagreb, Institute of Industrial Systems in Greece, etc. The European Commission is represented through a number of projects including the H2020 SMART4ALL project. MECO is a conference of prestigious credibility, referred to in all important scientific databases, IEEE, SCOPUS, Web of Science, SCImago, DPLB. Publons, Google Scholar, ResearchGate and all major databases in the field of computer science. He has had the SJR impact factor since 2012. It is ranked among the top world conferences in the field of electrical engineering and computer science. Papers from the MECO conference have been cited over 8,000 times in Google Scholar, while selected papers are published in Elsevier's journal from the SCI list "Microprocessors and Microsystems - MIPRO". The conference is traditionally chaired by its founders, Prof. dr Radovan Stojanović from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro and prof. Dr. Lech Jozwiak at Eindhoven Technical University. Responsible for reference publications is prof. dr Budimir Lutovac from ETF UCG, and for the program of lecturers by invitation of prof. Dr. Veljko Milutinovic of Indiana at Bloomington University. The guests of this conference are the most prestigious technical universities and leading HighTech companies, among which are: IBM, SONY, NXP, FRAUNHOFER, ETH Zurich.
