Rectorate Employees Donated Blood

Employees at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro donated blood within the campaign “Blood Is Not Water”, implemented together by the University of Montenegro, Student Parliament of the University of Montenegro and Institute for Blood Transfusion of Montenegro.

As a part of regular activities of the UoM after Rector Prof. Radmila Vojvodić and Director of the Institute Gordana Rašović signed Memorandum on Cooperation in April this year, employees from almost all departments of the Rectorate took part in the campaign. 

First blood donors in the campaign “Blood Is Not Water” were students, and it is planned from a study year 2017/2018 in Academic Calendar to have one day per month for voluntary blood donation.

The University of Montenegro attempts with this campaign, next to traditional blood donation, to raise awareness on importance of voluntary blood donation for Montenegrin health system. 

Actions of voluntary blood donation are organized on a monthly basis. All interested students, university teachers and administrative staff may join the action by applying on e-mail address: komunikacijski.centar@ac.me
