Competition for II Admission Deadline at the University of Montenegro
Rector of the University of Montenegro, upon the authorization of the Steering Committee of the University, will call the Competition for admission of students on the budget, in the first year of undergraduate studies of the University of Montenegro for academic 2019/2020 (II admission deadline).
The Competition will be announced in daily journals published in Montenegro.
Applications on the Competitions to be submitted on July 9th, 2019, until 16:00h.
There are 64 vacancies at the Biotechnical, 7 at the Faculty of Economics, 60 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, 27 at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, 16 the Faculty of Fine Arts, 41 at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, 30 at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, 197 the Faculty of Philology, 103 at the Faculty of Philosophy, 8 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, 72 at the Faculty of mechanical Engineering, 38 at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, 23 at the Music Academy, 49 at the Faculty of Maritime Sciences, 3 at the Faculty of Law in Bijelo Polje, 83 at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics.

A total number of vacancies at every study program increases by 1% according to the principle of affirmative action.
Applications on the Competition are to be submitted on July 9th, 2019, until 16:00h.
The right to application on the Competition for undergraduate studies have Montenegrin citizens and foreigners, in accordance with law, who acquired appropriate qualification of IV-1 sublevel of National qualification framework.
With the application for admission, the candidate encloses the following documents:
- original diploma on the passed external high school exam, or professional exam;
- original testimonies on completed individual grades of secondary education;
- diploma ‘Luca’ or an equivalent diploma;
- a copy of ID card, and an appropriate personal document issued in accordance with a special regulation for foreigners;
- a diploma (or equivalent document) on the winning first or second prize at a national or international competition from subjects of relevance to continuing education.
Foreigner shall also submit proof of the knowledge of language in which the studies are conducted, except in the case of having completed secondary school in one of languages that are in official use in Montenegro.
A person who had submitted a request for recognition of foreign educational documents and the recognition procedure was not completed before the deadline for submitting an application for admission expired may conditionally apply for admission and enroll on the basis of confirmation that the recognition of the procedure has been initiated in a competent body. In case the application for recognition of foreign educational documents is not completed by the beginning of the academic year, it will be rejected or if a foreign educational document do not entitle to enroll in a selected study program of the University, it will be considered that admission is not performed.
If a candidate submits duplicates instead of the required original documents, he/she is obliged to sign a statement when submitting documents that he/she did not use the original documents for exercising the right to enroll in another study program. A candidate who makes an inaccurate statement will be eliminated from the qualification procedure.
Tests of two subjects of importance for continuing education of candidates who did not have an external high school exam i.e. a professional examination, as well as admission exams for faculties and academies that organize them, which are additional terms for admission, are taken according to a schedule that will be highlighted on bulletin boards of university units, from July 10th to 11th 2019.
Admission of candidates and issuing of certificates will end on July 12th, 2019, at 16:00h.
The admission of students at the University of Montenegro is closely regulated by the Rulebook on Detailed Terms, Criteria and Admission Procedure for the First Year of Undergraduate Studies of the University of Montenegro (UoM Bulletin, No.432 / 18).
