Webinar Agenda:

16:00 Dr Nevena Puač, Institute of Physics in Belgrade, MSCA ITN Nowelties supervisor

MSCA ITN Nowelties - The primary goal of NOWELTIES is to organize a platform (European Joint Doctorate) that will provide significant training for the education of future water treatment professionals. The main activity is a research program (consisting of 14 individual research projects) aimed at the development of innovative technologies for water purification (advanced biological treatments, innovative oxidation processes, hybrid systems)

16:20 Samira Smajlović, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, young researcher at the MSCA ITN IMforFUTURE program

MSCA ITN IMforFUTURE - Innovative training in methods for future data. The focus of the program is on the aging population, which is the largest single risk factor for many diseases. By applying new methods to network data representing inflammation and immunology, IMforFUTURE will contribute to the understanding of the basic biological processes involved in disease and aging.  16:40 Ornela Bardhi, University of Deusto, ESR, young researcher at MSCA ITN Catch                        MSCA ITN Catch - Advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment have been revolutionary, and some cancers are now considered a chronic rather than a fatal disease. This shifts the focus point in the fight against cancer, from sustaining life to maximizing functional capacity and quality of life. However, many barriers to conducting active rehabilitation in cancer care exist due to deep physical and psychological implications. The webinar will cover topics such as networking, preparation and submission of proposals, project implementation and management, how to apply for the position of Young Researcher (ESR) and give internal advice on the experience of moving abroad, as well as the transformative impact of MSCA projects on institutions and individuals. The discussion will be led by Branka Žižić, National Coordinator for Horizon 2020 in Montenegro and Dalibor Drljača, National Contact Person of MSCA for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
