Scholarships of the German Foundation Konrad Adenauer for Study Year 2023/24

The German Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) awards scholarships for the academic year 2023/24 to socially and politically engaged and talented students in their final year of the faculty, postgraduates and doctoral students studying in Montenegro.

CONDITIONS

• Students from the 3rd year of study (from September 2023), as well as postgraduates and doctoral students, are entitled to a scholarship.
• Minimum average for students is 8.5
• Proficiency in English or German Language
• Age limit of a candidate is 30
• A candidate shall not be employed
• Deadline for applying is until June 9^th 2023
• Students who are shortlisted will be invited to an interview (in Montenegrin and English) with members of the scholarship awarding committee.
• Financial support is paid to selected students in the amount of 150 euros per month for 10 months
• The selected scholarship holders are obliged to provide KAS with proof of the course of their studies, and if the scholarship holder discontinues his studies, he is obliged to return the money to KAS.
• In addition to financial support, scholarship holders are also allowed to attend seminars and other activities organized by KAS

a photocopy of the diploma from undergraduate studies and a certificate of enrollment in postgraduate / doctoral studies are submitted

5. TWO ACADEMIC RECOMMENDATIONS
6. ONE RECOMMENDATION RELATED TO SOCIAL OR POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT

    (recommendation from the party, NGO or student organization – depending on the engagement)

7. Recent date PHOTOGRAPHY (template for ID or passport)
8. OTHER DIPLOMAS/ CERTIFICATES – COPIES

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IN APPLYING FOR SCHOLARHIP OF THE FOUNDATION KONRAD ADENAUER

1. Electronic delivery of documentation is not possible

2. Incomplete candidate documentation shall not be considered

3. After electing new scholarship holders, the candidates documentation is kept at the Foundation for maximum 3 months from the election, the candidate can take it in person or it can be returned by mail upon request

4. Recommendations must be on the facultys memorandum and signed by a professor

5. The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Montenegro awards a total of 9 scholarships per year

6. All candidates who applied for the scholarship will be notified of the official results of the competition no later than 20 days after the selection

7. Candidates are informed about the results of the competition via e-mail and individual explanations are not provided for why the candidate was not accepted into the program
