Global UGRAD - American Scholarships for Undergraduate Students

The competition for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) scholarship is open from November 1, 2023, to December 15, 2023, for undergraduate students from Montenegro. Global UGRAD is a one-semester exchange program in the United States fully funded by the U.S. Government through the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica, implemented by the organization World Learning.

Global UGRAD is an educational and cultural exchange program that allows young leaders to experience the American education system and culture during one semester at a U.S. university. Interested students can apply only online through the link: https://webportalapp.com/sp/ugrad_student_application_2024.

All students wishing to apply are encouraged to seek two letters of recommendation as soon as possible, following the instructions in the application form, as well as the latest available transcript of grades.

Note: The system closes for applications on December 15, which means it will not be possible to add the required documents to the system afterward. First-year students can apply and submit their high school transcript along with a confirmation of enrollment. Those invited for an interview will have the opportunity to later submit an updated transcript with an English translation. However, the initial application must include two letters of recommendation (in English) and the latest available transcript to be considered.

This year, we also have additional Global UGRAD slots for students from Montenegro, especially those studying political science, international relations, communication, journalism and media, diplomacy, security studies, or those intending to specialize in cybersecurity in the future.
