A Good Consortium Will Receive Financial Support from the EU

Applying for EU funds at the university level was the topic of the workshop organized by the International Office of the University of Montenegro in cooperation with the Humboldt University in Berlin. The representative of Humboldt University Roswintha Kersten-Pejanić presented the international funding programs and application procedures projects. "The challenge is to get the support of the European Union, not only in Montenegro, but also in Germany", she said. "Before applying for a project in the field of higher education, we should consider the needs of the European Union, its policies, in this particular issue, and stick to the rules," she recommended.

She noted that there project teams who did not have experience in the implementation of projects funded by the European Union are less likely to receive support.

“We need to go step by step, and if you have designed a project, and you do not have experience with using EU funds, it is better to be a partner in the project than the coordinating institution", was the recommendation of today's workshop. Tomorrow in the second part of the workshop, Kerten-Pejanić will talk about budget planning, writing applications, reporting and project management.

The workshop was organized as one of the forms of cooperation in the framework of the Erasmus + program for credit mobility.
