PhD Degree Scholarships at the Hong Kong University
University of Hong Kong offers scholarships for all doctoral students, but also for the students who are pursuing a master’s degree.
According to the QS ranking list from 2016 the University of Hong Kong is on 27th place. There are students from all over the world and the University has excellent libraries, computer equipment, and the most modern laboratories and obtains extraordinary research results. The students who write diploma paper have possibility to spend some time outside the campus.
The scholarship of 240, 00 HK$ (30,760 American dollars) is provided for the students while they are in the research stage and a conference and research related travel allowance of HK$10,000(1,280 American dollars), and for regular students of doctoral studies at least 188,400 HK$ (24,150 American dollars) per year.
The deadline for submission of initiative application forms for research is the beginning of September until 1 December 2017.
The deadline for submission of full application forms is from 1 September until 1 December 2017.
